Kaye Soka 2012
Kaye Soka resides in Toledo, Ohio and has been sailing for
39 years. After racing their 18' Interlake for many years, Kaye and her husband
Ron have spent the last 21 years enjoying their 32' Pearson, Meridian.
Kaye served as Treasurer (2007-2011). She has previously served on the Board of Directors, as Rear Commodore
(2003-2004) and is also the I-LYA representative for MBIYC.
In addition to MBIYC, Kaye is a member of the Toledo Yacht
Club, serving on the Mills Trophy Race Committee for several years and Jolly
Roger Sailing Club. Kaye served four years as the Education Officer for the
Toledo Sail and Power Squadron and enjoys teaching coastal piloting to the
squadron members.
In her other life Kaye owns a commercial embroidery
business, THREADWARE.
