MBIYC owns and operates 56 docks within the Middle Bass Island State Park marina. All 56 docks are located on F-Pier. F-Pier is the first pier as you enter the marina from the lake or the easternmost pier. The marina entrance is located at the northeast corner of the marina. The docks are leased on a seasonal basis to MBIYC members. See the Dock Holders List for current dock assignments. A dock waiting list exists for seasonal dockage. See the Dock Waiting List page for list details. MBIYC dock holders are required to notify the dockmaster on weekends and holidays if they intend to use their dock. If they haven't called in by 12:00 PM on Friday, the docks are available for daily or overnight rental by other MBIYC members, and then I-LYA affiliated members after 3:00 PM. The MBIYC Dock Policy sets forth the rules and regulations for dockage at the Club. A MBIYC Member Reservation Program has been established to give non-dock holder members better access to the dock facilities. Based upon past experience with dockage demand, several docks will be made available each weekend for member reservations. Once the available reservations are filled, a member waiting list will be maintained for each weekend. On each Friday beginning at the noon call-in deadline for dock holders, docks will be assigned in the following order:
1. Members holding a confirmed reservation After 3:00 PM on Fridays, available docks will be offered to I-LYA affiliated members on a first-come first-served basis. MBIYC members are encouraged to call the dockmaster anytime they would like to visit the Club and discuss dock availability. The dockmaster will hold docks for members per Club policy. Other than by special arrangement for reciprocating yacht clubs, MBIYC does not take transient dock reservations for non-members. All non-member transient docks are rented on a first-come-first served basis. See the I-LYA Dockage page for specific information pertaining to I-LYA affiliates.
