Gil Root

Gil
was born and raised on a farm in Fremont, Ohio. Married to Patricia in February1965, they have 4 children,
(Jim, Allan, Chad, and Sharalyn). They
also have 4 grandchildren (2 girls and 2 boys.)
Gil served as Staff Commodore (2010-2011), Commodore (2009-2010), Vice Commodore (2008-2009), Rear Commodore (2007-2008) and on the Board of Directors (2003-2007). He
holds a Masters license and spends considerable time captaining boats.
Gil
served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years and is a Vietnam Veteran.
Retired as
an electrician from Delphi
Corporation in Sandusky and owns an operates farms in Fremont area.
He
enjoys boating, scuba diving and vacationing in the Caribbean and Mexico.
