
Mike Stewart
MBIYC Commodore 2005-2006
Mike and Bobbie lived in Englewood Ohio most of their lives, They have owned
several boats in the past 35+ years. Their boating has been done primarily on
the Great Lakes. However, in early years they had several runabouts and along
with camping enjoyed boating and many smaller lakes.
Their present boat is a 36' Formula named "Crapshooter".
Mike is a Certified Public Adjuster and is a partner in his own firm. He and
Bobbie also own and run a small storage business, They joined MBIYC in 1995
during the early years like so many others. He followed Larry Uland and Charlie
McCarthy around and heard the words "grunt" and "gopher" used a lot.
His first official title was Entertainment Chairperson along with Bobbie.
After almost 4 years with that title he was then elected as a Director and onto
Vice Commodore (2003-2004). Mike was our Commodore during 2005 and 2006. He was
the last of the "2-year term" Commodores.
