MBIYC JUNE CRUISE
Cedar Point Marina, Sandusky OH
June 18-20, 2010 (Friday-Sunday)
The weather turned out great for our first cruise out
of the season. We had 13 boats and all had a good time. Pat Root won the guess
what’s in the jar contest (29 out of 30) items. Sharon Weisenbach won the
scavenger hunt with all the items. Fleet captain Barb Uland had mixed fruit
bowls, pastries and juice for everybody on Sunday morning.
Members must call Cedar Point Marina to reserve a space. Notify
them that you are with the Middle Bass Island Yacht Club group.
6/14/10: Our club member Arthur Lucht, who docks at Cedar
Point and belongs to Point Yacht Club also, has extended an invitation for us to
join them on Saturday between Noon and 4:30 PM for hot dogs, cold drinks, and a
good time, etc. It will be at Dock 8 in the south basin at a pavilion by the
big green building. We are also planning on snacks on the dock Friday evening,
and donuts and fruit on Sunday AM on the docks.
4/5/10: Cedar Point Curise on June 18-20 has 20 boats
signed up. Not everybody has called in to Cedar Point Marina to make the
required deposit, but there is still time. Plans are being made for getting
together on the Docks Friday evening. A scavenger hunt during the day on
Saturday, around going into the Park, or whatever you want to do. Trying to get
everyone together at the same time is not very feasible at Cedar Point, so we
will just have a good time. Sunday morning donuts etc. on the docks,
before we leave for home.

American Express.
Can cancel with at least a 48 hour notice. In the event of inclement
weather, members can
contact Marina Office up to 10:00 AM on the day of their arrival date and
reschedule for another
available date within one year.
Check in Time: 1:00 PM Check out Time: 11:00 AM
Members must call in at least 2 weeks prior to outing to make reservation. We
only have 20 - 30' to 35'
docks and 5 - 36' to 42' docks, so don't delay. More on scheduled activities
later.

Others may have signed up since then. The official list is kept by the
Fleet Captain and we only update this list periodically.
