Larry King
Term Expiring 9/2010

Larry and his wife Barb have been sailing on Maumee Bay and Lake Erie since the mid 70's. They started with a 16' Rebel but soon moved to the 18' Interlake class where they did a bit of racing and met a lot of lifelong friends.

Age and family caught up with them and they graduated to bigger boats with a few more creature comforts. After owning a Tartan 28 and a Tartan 35, they sailed a Tartan 41 named "Timeless". In 2009 they traded for a new Tartan 43 that carries the same name.

Larry's day job is serving as General Counsel to Flint Group, a multinational manufacturer of products for the printing market with offices in Plymouth, MI.

Larry and Barb live in Maumee, OH.

Larry was elected to the Board in 2007. He helped revise the Constitution as a member of the Rules Committee and worked to finalize the current long-term lease for the new Club site with the State.

He is also a member of the Sandusky Yacht Club.
