EMAIL: dockmaster@mbiyc.com

My, Great Grandfather Rehberg was a grape grower and wine maker on Middle Bass in the 1800’s. His daughter, my Grand-mother, was born on Club House Point. My Great Grandfather Dodge was a farmer on East Point about this same time. My Grand-mother was one of seven Dodge children born and raised on East Point of Middle Bass. My Father was born and raised at the house on Fox Rd. now known as Innis Cobe. My mother was born and raised on South Bass and gradu-ated from Put-in-Bay High School.

I have been involved with boating and around boats all my life, first with my parents on their various boats, then later when my wife and I could afford to get into boating. I am a Viet Nam veteran having served in the Army as a heavy equipment mechanic. We have three sons, Steven, Scott (twins) and Donald who have also enjoyed with us many hours on the lake and at the island each year. I hold a 75 ton U.S.C.G. Master Certifi-cate, love being around boats and could not think of a better job than being the Dock Master for the MBIYC.

I recently retired from my position as Manager of Eng. / Estimating with Siemens VAI Services where I work for the past 43 years and am looking forward to a different pace in my life, summers at MBI and winters somewhere warm.
