In the Fall of 1977, Donna was employed by the Wynford Local School District at the high school level to teach Life Skills, remedial math and coach volleyball at the junior varsity/varsity levels for 5 years.  Along with coaching she has continued officiating volleyball matches for 33 years.  In 1991, Donna became the junior high/high school physical education educator until her retirement in June, 2005.

Donna has been enjoying the Lake Erie landscapes since the mid - 60's.  Her parents owned a boat and cottage at Shrock's Marina in Marblehead, Ohio.  Donna and Bill have continued her family's boating and cottage experiences still at Shrock's Marina, and have been members of MBIYC for 13 years.  Donna has held the office of Club Secretary for the past 3 years, and has enjoyed every minute of her duties; especially being a part of the newly built Clubhouse.  Bill and Donna have truly enjoyed all the many new friends, the cruises, activities and events held with the Middle Bass Island Yacht Club families, and look forward to all the exciting adventures still to happen at MBIYC.
