Special Member Events are informally organized opportunities for members to get together and have fun. ANYONE can organized a special event. Just get in touch with our entertainment chairpersons and let them know your idea. They'll provide the necessary coordination and help get the info out to the membership, usually via this webpage.

MBIYC Past Commodore's Pancake Breakfast

Sunday July 1, 2012 & Sunday September 2, 2012

    Join the Past Commodores of MBIYC for a great Pancake and Sausage Breakfast in the clubhouse.

    Pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit, juice and PC Mike Stewart's KILLER EGGS!

    8:30 am to 11:00 am (or until the food runs out!) - $5.00 per person.

    Proceeds from this event will help pay for future Club projects.

The Bicentennial Battle of Lake Erie - September 2013

The Battle of Lake Erie Bicentennial Celebration in late August through September 10, 2013 will bring together hundreds of thousands of people from the U.S., Canada and abroad.

The two-week Celebration will include a large fleet of Tall Ships in an historic reenactment of the Battle of Lake Erie, a grand Parade of Sail and Port Festivals in waterfront cities in the U.S. and Canada. Visitors will be able to tour the Ships, enlist as Crew Members in the reenactment, or be part of the Bicentennial Fleet or Militia.
